TRUFFLE COOKIES RECIPE

TRUFFLE COOKIES RECIPE

A little decadent we know but these glorious gooey cookies are easy to make and with ooze chocolate!

Ever wondered what to do with leftover boxes of chocolates? We don't think you will have any Trwffl chocolates left ...... but you can use any type of chocolates leftover from the holidays. This easy recipe is fun and quick to make. You will need:

  • 225g softened butter
  • 110g golden caster sugar
  • 275g plain flour
  • 1 tsp allspice, cinnamon or any spice you like!
  • 100g of chopped leftover chocolate or truffle pieces
  • METHOD

    Heat the oven to 190C/170C fan/gas 5.

Cream the butter in a large bowl until it is soft.

Add the sugar and keep beating until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Sift in the flour and add remaining ingredients.

Mix together with your hands to form a dough. (You can freeze the dough to use   later if you like)

Roll the dough into walnut-sized balls and place slightly apart from each other on a lightly greased baking tray

Flatten the balls with the palm of your hand and bake them in the oven for around 10-12 mins until they are golden brown and slightly firm on top.

Leave to cool on a wire rack for around 15 mins before serving.
